Restoration of Old Prints

How it works ?

In most cases, your old, damaged prints can be repaired and enhanced to near original quality or even better than the original. Once the image has been repaired, the new print can even be printed much larger than the original.

Once I see the original, I can tell you how much editing would be required and how large you will be able to go with the new print.

Pricing starts at $15-$65/hr for the initial capture and editing of the original image into the computer. Once fixed, the new file is sent to the lab for printing (print price depends on new size).

1. Original Unharmed

A very high resolution capture is taken of the original print so all the editing is completed in the computer and the original print returned.

2. Enhanced

The finished print is enhanced for saturation, contrast, etc…and spots, rips and damage removed.

3. New Print Made

Because of the high resolution capture, the new print can many times be enlarged many times above the original.
