Detached Garage Slab is Poured

This past Friday was a big day here at the studio.  I was able to get the 3 bay garage slab poured and finished with the help of family and friends.  Rain threatened a little in the morning but held out and was nice all day.  The work was hard but we got it down, floated it smooth, and anchor bolts set.  I kept wetting it through the evening and next day to help it cure slower.

I now have the forms removed, control joints cut and ruts the heavy truck left filled back in with dirt so I should be ready to start framing the walls in a day or two.  I am excited to get this going and will soon have a finished detached garage so I can have the camera room moved to the larger room.
