Think proportions...when you are hanging a beautiful wall portrait, over a sofa, piano, or other prominent furniture, the wall portrait needs to be in proportion to the items around it and the space it fills. For instance, you wouldnt want a 16x20 or 11x14 over a full size piano. Portraits can be from 11x14 to 40x60.

It is always good to have a frame that coordinates with the image itself, but the frame should also be in harmony with the home decor and colors and tones of the room its displayed in. Portraits are framed here at the studio before they leave.
